Solar Energy For Homes. The energy cost for home increases every day. Now, the people demand for using solar energy to produce electricity for their home is increasing by the time. This is green technology, they use renewable energy which does not contribute to global warming.

By using solar energy for your home, it will save money and the environment. The solar panel home made construction for residential purpose is not too complex.

It is easily do able and does not require any special skill or any degree in engineering to developing a solar panel for home use. Without professional assistance an average people can assemble a total solar for home use package.

The important thing before installation is determining the location of solar cells. This equipment have to placed in location that can get maximum amount of sunlight along day. The people can do the installation in the roof of the house or garage, in the garden and the other places.

Solar panel also known as photovoltaic can convert sun’s radiation into direct current electricity for home by store electricity created during the day in batteries. To make it compatible for home’s appliances, the DC from battery have to be converted to alternating current (AC) by using a device called inverter unless the home’s appliances are able to run off of DC current.

May be some people think, if the weather is sunny it is good but how if it cloudy?

The good news is even in cloudy day, the solar cell still can gain its natural energy.

With only small loss in efficiency, the home made solar panel can last for a decade or perhaps longer. You can take solar energy for home power consumption advantages that would result in you getting paid back month after month by paying an initial fee.

SOLAR POOL HEATER

Solar pool heater system works with a solar collector, pump, filter and flow control valve. This system operates under simple mechanisms. First, the cool water is pumped from the pool to the solar collectors where that water is warmed by the sun energy. Next, the warm water is pumped back into the pool. Solar collector refers to the device through which the pool water is delivered and heated using solar energy, the debris carried by the water through the pumps is trapped by the filter, the pump provides the force that drives the water into the from the pool, into the collector, and then back to the pool. The flow control valve is a manual or automatic device that diverts and regulates the flow of pool water to the solar collector.

There are two types of solar collectors, the glazed and unglazed pool heating collector. The glazed collector is more expensive than an unglazed solar pool heating collector since it uses glass covering. An unglazed solar pool heating collector used plastic protectors and heavy-duty rubber that are treated for ultraviolet (UV) protection. During the cold climates this type works great on indoor pools. The glazed collector are made with copper tubing on aluminum plates with iron-tempered glass covering, which somewhat increases its cost. It captures solar heat more effectively than the unglazed collector during cold weather. It also can work under any climate conditions. Usually, the service life of these collectors would depend on how tedious it is used in solar heating applications and the climate. Both the unglazed and glazed collectors have freeze protection which is useful during extremely cold condition.
