Global Warming For Kids. Today, global warming is a complicated subject. Most of us would be oblivious and ignore the fact that our planet Earth is dying. So we must help take care of our only home and do our part. The attitude should be taught to kids at an early age so they will take care of the environment and will grow into responsible adults.
It is important to teach global warming for kids. You should teach them by giving an example and use the simple words or not overcomplicated words to explain so they can understand. You should teach your kids how to turning off the lights in their room when they are out and explain to them that the use of a lot of electricity makes the earth hot. You also should remind them what the difference they are making by turning off the light in their room. Do not forget to repeat your teaching, because repeated teaching will make memory and good habits are base on memory. They will practice and do what they remember.
Starting with lights, you can teach them by other appliances in the house like refrigerator. Use a simple sentence to explain them that the refrigerator also uses electricity in their lights bulbs. Then explain to them that the refrigerator uses electricity to keep it cold. Talk to them that when the fridge is open, the refrigerator will become less cold and the refrigerator will need more electricity to keep it cold. Like the explanation how the light uses the electricity, it is also happen to refrigerator. The use of a lot of electricity will makes the earth hot. Remember that you have to use simple words they already know when teaching global warming for kids to understand.
When they use water for taking a bath or brushing their teeth, you could teach global warming for kids about water usage. When they brush their teeth teach them how to turning off the tap water for save water. Explain to them, it takes up a lot of energy to bring the water into the house and also the energy used to make the water warm and clean. The use of a lot of energy will make the earth hotter.
We can also teach the global warming for kids by explain about recycling. Teach and help them to recycle things that are no longer needed such as the tin cans, paper waste and glass bottles. Discuss with them and explain that how recycling help save energy and will make earth cooler.
You could also plant some trees and teach them how to do it too. Then explain to them how trees help eat up all the stinky and black smokes that make the earth hot.
Teach them to walk or ride a bicycle if they are headed to a destination nearby, and remind them that the cars puff out smokes that make our earth hotter. Also teach them how taking buses and trains help reduce the smokes in the air.
The important thing is you have to do the same for yourself to be a role model for your kids.
